Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had very spacious and comfortable rooms, with a new shower room and a lovely warm atmosphere. However, traffic noise was a significant issue during the stay. The service was fantastic, with extremely welcoming and helpful staff. The location was excellent, just minutes from the seafront, offering convenience for evening outings. The dining experience was a bit basic, lacking some drink options, but the breakfast was nice and warm. Overall, great value for money and a place to consider revisiting.
The room we booked had plumbing issues, being sold as a twin but actually a single, with a small and cramped shower and shallow tray. There was a damp smell and the room was very basic, full of mold and tiny, not as advertised on booking.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms offered a lovely view over the gardens and to the sea, but they were quite dated. The service was excellent, with nice views and a great location, though there was a rude encounter upon arrival. The location was fine, close to attractions, but could use some revamping to make it more inviting. The dining experience provided a good range of options, although the food could have been hotter. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.
